Where We Recruit From
EMIGRATLY recruits nationally across the Philippines, with strong candidate volume from Metro Manila, Cebu, and other major regional centers — the Philippines has one of the world's longest-established and most structured overseas-labor-migration systems, and candidates come from every region.
Why Our Candidates Choose Overseas Work
Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) remittances are one of the largest and most consistent pillars of the Philippine economy, and hospitality and healthcare-support contracts abroad routinely offer both higher pay and internationally recognized experience compared to equivalent domestic roles.
The Emigration Process
DMW and the OEC
The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) — which absorbed the former Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) in 2022 — oversees the deployment of Filipino workers abroad. Every OFW needs an Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) before departure, along with membership in the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), which provides welfare support while you're abroad.
Licensed recruitment
EMIGRATLY works within the Philippines' DMW-licensed recruitment framework and verifies every employer contract directly before any candidate is matched — we never charge placement fees disguised as "processing" or "visa" costs.
Documents You'll Need
- Valid passport: with at least 6 months' validity at the time of travel
- Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC): issued by the DMW before departure
- OWWA membership: registered as part of the deployment process
- Educational and trade certificates: highest qualification plus any vocational/trade documentation (e.g. TESDA certification)
- NBI police clearance certificate: from the National Bureau of Investigation
- Medical fitness certificate: from a DOH-accredited medical center for your destination country
Where Our Candidates Go
Filipino candidates registered with EMIGRATLY are placed most heavily into GCC hospitality and healthcare-support roles, with strong demand in facility management and growing East and Southeast Asia placements. See the Sectors pages for role-level detail.
