Where We Recruit From
EMIGRATLY recruits nationally across Nepal, with strong candidate volume from the Kathmandu Valley, the eastern hill districts, and the Terai plains — regions with long-established histories of overseas labor migration, particularly to the Gulf and, historically, East Asia.
Why Our Candidates Choose Overseas Work
Remittances from overseas work are one of the largest components of Nepal's national economy, and construction and facility-management roles abroad routinely pay several times an equivalent domestic wage — a central reason overseas placement is such an established path for Nepali workers.
The Emigration Process
DoFE labor permit
Nepali workers going abroad for employment need a labor permit issued by the Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE), under the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, before departure.
Licensed recruitment
EMIGRATLY works within Nepal's licensed-recruitment framework and verifies every employer contract directly before any candidate is matched — we never charge placement fees disguised as "processing" or "visa" costs.
Documents You'll Need
- Valid passport: with at least 6 months' validity at the time of travel
- DoFE labor permit: issued by the Department of Foreign Employment before departure
- Educational and trade certificates: highest qualification plus any vocational/trade documentation
- Police clearance certificate: from your local district administration office
- Medical fitness certificate: from a GAMCA-approved medical center for most GCC destinations
- Pre-departure orientation: required as part of the labor-permit process
Where Our Candidates Go
Nepali candidates registered with EMIGRATLY are placed most heavily into GCC construction and facility-management roles, with growing demand in security and warehousing and logistics. See the Sectors pages for role-level detail.
