What to check, what to prepare and what to expect on this route. Every official name and link below comes from a government or ILO page we read; we say plainly where there is none.

Before you pay anyone, check them against your own government.
Brazil
No central recruiter-licensing body
Brazil does not run a central emigration-clearance or recruiter-licensing body of the kind India, the Philippines or Bangladesh do, so there is no government list to check an overseas recruiter against.
How to check: Rely on the destination side instead: confirm the employer and the contract with the destination country's labour authority (below), and never pay for a job you cannot verify there.
Every candidate completes the same intake checklist. Your source country adds its own clearances on top. The destination side (visa type, medical, attestation) depends on the employer and your role, and your specialist confirms what currently applies.

What the government and the ILO publish, in plain words. Laws change: your contract and the official page always win over this summary.
If something goes wrong
The labour inspectorate takes complaints about pay, payslips, leave, holiday pay, the 13th-month payment and workplace safety. They can be anonymous and are handled confidentially, but only while you still have an employment relationship and the breach is still happening.
Complaints about harassment, persecution for union activity or discrimination must be made in writing with your identity and backed by evidence, so they are not anonymous. The inspectorate also has a separate advice service that keeps the identity of the person asking confidential.
If you have already left the job, or the breach is not happening now but you are still within the legal time limit to claim, the inspectorate does not take the complaint. Book an appointment with the ministry's consultations division on 0800 7171 or 098 00 71 71, or through its online consultation form.
