Brazil → Malaysia

What to check, what to prepare and what to expect on this route. Every official name and link below comes from a government or ILO page we read; we say plainly where there is none.

Brazil → Malaysia Capital to destination centre; the arc shows direction, not a flight path.
Step 1 · At Home

Before you pay anyone, check them against your own government.

Brazil

No central recruiter-licensing body

Brazil does not run a central emigration-clearance or recruiter-licensing body of the kind India, the Philippines or Bangladesh do, so there is no government list to check an overseas recruiter against.

How to check: Rely on the destination side instead: confirm the employer and the contract with the destination country's labour authority (below), and never pay for a job you cannot verify there.

Step 2 · Prepare

Documents to have ready

Every candidate completes the same intake checklist. Your source country adds its own clearances on top. The destination side (visa type, medical, attestation) depends on the employer and your role, and your specialist confirms what currently applies.

Every candidate

  • Passport (First Page)
  • Passport (Last Page)
  • Photograph
  • CV
  • Education Certificate
  • Health Declaration
  • Consent

Specific to your source country

  • Atestado de Antecedentes Criminais: Brazil's police clearance certificate, issued by the Polícia Federal.

Step 3 · At The Destination

Who to check with in the country you are going to.

Malaysia

Department of Labour Peninsular Malaysia (JTKSM), Ministry of Human Resources

Private employment agencies must hold a licence under the Private Employment Agencies Act 1981, and JTKSM publishes the list of licensed agencies. Check the agency there before you pay.
